Simultaneous Determination of Four Componentsin Huanglian Capsules by HPLC

Abstract：Objective To establishan HPLC method for simultaneous determinationofberberine hydrochloride，epiberberine， coptisine hydrochloride and palmatine hydrochloride in Huanglian Capsules.Methods CAPCELL PAK C18 chromatographic column （ 250mm×4.6mm ， 5μm ）was used. The mobile phase was acetonitrile -0.05mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution （45：55），isocratic elution，flow rate 1.0mL/min ，detection wavelength 345nm ，column temperature 30qC ，injection volume：10 （20 μL .ResultsBerberinehydrochloride，epiberberine hydrohloride，coptisinehydrochlorideandpalmatinehydrochloridehadgoodlinear relationship with the peak area in the linear ranges of 3.9041-23.4480μg/mL ，0.3644 -2.1888 μg/mL， 0.6711-4.0304μg/ mLand 0.8502-5.1064μg/mL ，respectively. The average recoveries were 99.61% 98.39% ，98.84 % ， 99.04% ，and the RSDs were 0.19 % ，1.21 % ，0.78 % ， 0.53% （ n=6 ），respectively. Conclusion The method is efficient，accurate and sensitive， andcanbeusedforthesimultaneousdetermiationofberberinehydrochloride，epiberberine，coptisinehydrochlorideandpalmatine hydrochloride inHuanglian Capsules，which providesascientific basis forbetercontrolofthequalityofHuanglian Capsules.

黃連膠囊是由黃連制成的單方制劑，具有清熱燥濕、瀉火解毒的功效，用于濕熱蘊(yùn)毒所致的痢疾、黃疸，癥見發(fā)熱、黃疸、吐瀉、尿黃如茶、牙齦腫痛或大便膿血。（剩余4388字）
