Study on in Vitro Skincare Effect of Rose and Osmanthus Flower Compound Extract

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigatetheskincare efectsof Damascusroseandosmanthus flowercompound extract(ROT)on whitening,anti-oxidation,andanti-agingin vitro,various methodswereemployed.MethodsTheimpactofROTonthegrowth activityof B16F10cellswasasessedusing theCCK-8method,while the DPPHscavengingabilityandABTSscavengingabilityof ROTwas evaluated throughafreeradicalscavenging test.Theefectof ROTonmelanincontentinB16F10cels wasdetermiedusing thesodiumhydroxidecrackingmetod,andtheinhibitionofelastasebyROTwasstudiedthroughanelastaseinhibitiontestAddion aly,the eyeiitationpotentialofROTwasexaminedusingthechickembroalantoic membranemethod.ResultsTeresultsindicated that ROT concentrations ranging from 0. 1% to 2% had no adverse effects on B16F1O cell growth. Furthermore,the DPPH and ABTS test demonstrated that ROT concentrations of 0.5% to 2% exhibiteda high free radical scavenging ability of up to 90% .The melanin content influence test revealed that ROT concentrations of 0.1% to 2% significantly inhibited melanin production in B16F10 cells.Moreover,the elastase inhibition experiment showed that ROT concentrations of 0.1% to 2% effectively inhibited elastaseactivitynaconcentration-dependent manner.ThechickembryoalantoicmembranemethodconfirmedthatROTdidnotcauseeyeritation.ConclusionROTdemonstrated notableabilitiesinclearingDPPHandABTS,inhibitingmelaninproductioninB16F1cells, andinhibitingelastaseactivityinvitro,allwilesowingnoeyeiitationTesefidingssuggestthatROT,asaskinareactiesubstance,holds promise for in vitro whitening,antioxidant,and anti-aging effcts,with a certain levelof safety.
