Study on in Vitro Skincare Effect of Rose and Osmanthus Flower Compound Extract

Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigatetheskincare efectsof Damascusroseandosmanthus flowercompound extract（ROT）on whitening，anti-oxidation，andanti-agingin vitro，various methodswereemployed.MethodsTheimpactofROTonthegrowth activityof B16F10cellswasasessedusing theCCK-8method，while the DPPHscavengingabilityandABTSscavengingabilityof ROTwas evaluated throughafreeradicalscavenging test.Theefectof ROTonmelanincontentinB16F10cels wasdetermiedusing thesodiumhydroxidecrackingmetod，andtheinhibitionofelastasebyROTwasstudiedthroughanelastaseinhibitiontestAddion aly，the eyeiitationpotentialofROTwasexaminedusingthechickembroalantoic membranemethod.ResultsTeresultsindicated that ROT concentrations ranging from 0. 1% to 2% had no adverse effects on B16F1O cell growth. Furthermore，the DPPH and ABTS test demonstrated that ROT concentrations of 0.5% to 2% exhibiteda high free radical scavenging ability of up to 90% .The melanin content influence test revealed that ROT concentrations of 0.1% to 2% significantly inhibited melanin production in B16F10 cells.Moreover，the elastase inhibition experiment showed that ROT concentrations of 0.1% to 2% effectively inhibited elastaseactivitynaconcentration-dependent manner.ThechickembryoalantoicmembranemethodconfirmedthatROTdidnotcauseeyeritation.ConclusionROTdemonstrated notableabilitiesinclearingDPPHandABTS，inhibitingmelaninproductioninB16F1cells， andinhibitingelastaseactivityinvitro，allwilesowingnoeyeiitationTesefidingssuggestthatROT，asaskinareactiesubstance，holds promise for in vitro whitening，antioxidant，and anti-aging effcts，with a certain levelof safety.
