Effects of Strigolactones on The Germination of Grape Summer Buds and The Expression of Related Genes

Abstract:【Objective】Theefects of strigolactone on the germinationof grape summer budsand the expressionof strigolactone synthesis pathwayandsignal ransduction genes inbuds werestudied,which providedatheoreticalbasisfortherational useof strigolactone anditsinhibitionofsummer bud germinationin grape production.【Methods】Taking‘Liaofeng’grape as test material,the germination number,lengthand stem diameterof summer buds were investigated byapplying diferentconcentrations of strigolactone analogue GR24,andtheexpressionof synthetic genes inbuds was determined.【Results】Exoge nous GR24 hadasignificant inhibitory effecton the germinationof grapesummerbuds.With the increaseof hormoneconcentration,theinhibition time wasprolonged.However,the efect on the growthof secondary shoots after germination was not obvious.After GR24 treatment,the expresion levels of VvD27,VvMAX1,VvCDD7andVvCDD8decreased withthe increaseof concentrationThe expresion levels of monostearin signal transduction genes VvMAX2andVvDl4 increased with theincreaseof treatmentconcentration.【Conclusion】Theresultsshowed that strigolactonecouldefectivelyinhibitthegerination of summerbuds.Itmayafectthegermination andgrowthof summerbudsbyaecting the synthesisand signal transduction of strigolactone in grape summer buds.
