Analysis of endophytic fungal diversity of Centella asiatica of Guangxi

Abstract:Inordertoinvestigatethedistributionofendopyticfungiintherots,stemsandleavesofCentellasiatica(L.)Urban, thecompositionofendophyticfungi groupsofCentellasiaticainGuangxiwasanalyed.HealthyCentellasiaticaspecimenswerecollectedfromsixdistinctregionsinGuangxi,ncludingLiuzou,Qinzou,Beihai,Guilin,HezhoundBaiseities,folowedbydo phyticfungalisolationfromtheirroot,stem,andleaftissues.Theendophyticfungiwereidentfiedbycombining morphologicaland molecularbiologicalmethods,followedbydiversityanalysis.Theresultsshowdthatatotalof114endophticfungalstrainsweeiso lated,belongingtoplum,3classes,9orders,2fmilies,and17genera,withtetaxonomicstatusof1geusreminigudetermined.ThegeneraColetotricumandDiaporthewereidentifidastedominantendohtcfungiinCentellasiatica.Thedopt icfungidiversityofCentellasiaticaindiferntregionswassgnificantlydiferent.TheendohicfungiinGuilinCityndLuzou City were themostabundant,andtheendopyticfungiinBeihai CityandQinzhouCitywere the mostsimilar,folowedbyGuilinCity andLiuzhouCity.Throughcomparativeanalysis,itwasfoundthatheendophyticfungiinrootshadthehighestabundance,andthe similaritycoeficientofendophticfungiinstemsandlavesasthehighest.ThefindingsindicatedthatCentellasiaticinGuangxi exhibitedhighdiversityandrelativelyunifordistributionofendophyticfungi,withbothgrowthnvironmentandplantisuetypesignificantly influencing their community composition and diversity.
