Abstract：Indeepfoundation pitengineering insoftsoilareas，thehighcompresibility，lowpermeabilityandenvironmental sensitivityofthestrataposehigherrequirementsforsupporttechnology.TakingaShanghaistoragetankprojectasthe background，for an excavation depth reaching 16.6m （locall18.1m），the support systemadoptsan automaticservo steel support system.Monitoringdata isusedtotrackthelateral displacementofdiaphragm wals，thedynamicchangesofthesuport axialforce，thesurroundinggroundsurfacesetlementandtheresponsecharacteristicsofthewaterandsoiloutsidethepitare systematicaly tracked.Combined withthereal-time feedback and dynamicadjustment mechanism oftheservosystem，its activecontroldeformationabilityisverified.Theresearch foundthattheservosystem，throughthepressurethresholdseing andthecoordinationofmulti-levelsupports，significantlyreducedthemaximumlateraldisplacementoftheunderground continuous wall to 0.1%H （ H is the excavation depth），which is 31.3% lower than the average value of the traditional measurednorms.Theoreticalanalysisshows thattheself-adaptiveregulationofthesystemefectivelybalances thecontradiction between therheological efectof softsoilandthestressreleaseof excavationunloading，andits"prediction-responsecompensation" closed -loop logic provides a new idea for complex stratum foundation pit engineering.
