Abstract Volunteer service is an important component of hospital social services and plays a significant role in improving patients'medical experience.Focusing on the urgent and dificult issues faced by outpatient patients during their medical visits，with the themeof "Wisdom Acompanies You，Love Goes Together"，thehospital conductedoutpatient volunteer service activities for medical students basedon the service—learning theory，encompassing four aspects： preparation，service，reflection，and sharing.These activities provided patients withboth inteligent andcaring services，bene fiting patients，volunteers，hospitals，and universities alike.
