Abstract：Yang Qidominates the movement and changes ofthe universe，nature，and human beings，playing acrucial role in theYin-Yangsystem.Theter“QiSuo”impliesitsdynamicspatiotemporalpositionandimagery，itsfunctiondependsoitsposition.ThecongenitalpositionandimageryofYangQi，which“bearsYinandembracesYang”，reliesonthetialpotentialandtrend of moveent，undergoesaprocessof“incubation”throughtheintercommunicationofYinandYangQi，itexertsitsoleinteacquiredrealmby“bearing Yang and embracing Yin”，perpetuall circulatingthrough ascending，descending，opening，and closing， therebygeneratingharmoiousallphenomena.ClarifingthespatiotemporalpositionandiageryanditsoleofYangQielpstoeter understandtheoriginalintentionoftheHuangdiNeijingtext，guidingtraditionalChinesemedicinehealthpreservationanddisease treatment， thus possessing significant practical significance.
