Abstract: [Purposes] This paper aims to deeply analyze the internal mechanism of how intellectual property rights can inject vitalityand promote the development of the food industry,and on this basis,provide a useful reference for the innovation and development of the food industry in Henan Province,especially in Luohe City.[Methods] This paper summarizes the current situation of intellectual property developmentof food industry in Luohe City,analyzes its existing problems,and puts forward the pathof intellectual property to help the developmentof food industry in Luohe City.[Findings] Itis found that the Luohe food industry has many problems,such as a lack of high-value patents, weak brand construction, unexplored geographical indication resources,and a shortage of talents.[Conclusions] In view of the existing problems of intellctual property rights inthe food industry,Luohe Cityexplores innovative development paths,and gradually moves towards higher quality development goals by introducing corresponding mechanisms,adjusting development strategies,guiding enterprises to try new models and new formats,and buildinga talent security system.
