Spatial Stress Analysisof 2oO-meter Prestressed Concrete Girder Bridge

Abstract:[Purposes] With the increase of bridge spans,the traditional design and construction codes can no longer adequately cope with the new challenges.Therefore,the influence of prestressloss on the spatial distribution characteristics of structural stresses during the construction stage of 2OO-meter-class mega-span continuous girder bridges is explored,with aview to providing a more accurate theoretical basis and practical guidance for the design and construction of medium-to-large spanbridges.[Methods]ABAQUS finite element software is used to systematically analyze the effect of prestress loss on the stress distribution and deformation of the structure by adjusting the magnitude of prestress load based on the normal construction process of bridge formation for a 2OO-meter class continuous girder bridge.In the research process,the bridge response under diferent prestressing conditions is simulated in combination with different construction stages to ensure the scientificityand practicabilityof the research results.[Findings]Theresults of thestudy showed thatprestress loss significantly afected the stress distribution and deflection characteristics of the 2OO-meter class continuous girder bridge.The downward deflection and stress concentration of the bridge increased under the reduced prestressload,especially near the supports,indicating that the reasonable control of prestress is crucial forthe overallsafety and serviceabilityof thebridge.[Conclusions]This study reveals the critical influence of prestressloading on the structural performance ofbridges through an in-depthanalysis of theprestress loss of 2OO-meter-class mega-span continuous girder bridges.The results of the study provide an important theoretical basis for future bridge design and construction.
