Application of Ultra-High Pressure Liner Tieback Fracturing Technology in Tarim Basin

Abstract:The Silurian sandstone reservoirs in central Tarim Basin are characterized by poor physical properties,strong heterogeneity,lowporosity andlow permeabilityor ultra-low porosity and ultra-low permeability, which bring great chalenges to oilfield development.After analyzing the main technical challenges faced by the staged fracturing of horizontal wels in central Tarim Basin,an ultra-high pressure liner tieback fracturing,cementing and completion integrated string technology was proposed.The structure of the ultra-high pressre liner cementing and completion tool was designed,and simulation analysis and ground performance test were conducted on its bearing,anchoring and sealing capacities.The results show that the liner hanger has a bearing capacity up to 1 (204號(hào) 200kN , the tieback anchoring capacity is 1100kN , and the sealing capacity of the whole integrated string after tieback is 105MPa ,meeting the requirements for implementation of horizontal well staged fracturing technologies such as staged fracturing using coiled tubing with botom packer or bridge plug.The proposed technology was tested in 2 wells of Tazhong 16block ,demonstrating successful cementing and completion jobs, and the maximum fracturing pressure of 90MPa . The field test results show that the ultra-high pressure liner tieback fracturing, cementingand completion integrated string technology is qualified for stimulation of low porosityand lowpermeability reservoirs,and provides technical support for the eficient exploration and beneficial developmentof oil and gas in low porosity and low permeability reservoirs.
