Abstract：The protected genera and species of new plant varieties in our country must be within the scope of the national listofnewplantvarietyprotection.Tobeincludedinthelistofnewplantspecies protectioninChina，itisnecessarytodevelop DUS testing guidelines forthis plant genus and species.Fennel is planted invarious regions ofChina，andthe InternationalUnion fortheProtectionofNewPlant Varieties hascurrentlydeveloped guidelines forfennelDUS testing.However， China has not yet studiedand released guidelines for fenel DUS testing.This studydeveloped this guidelne by planting 46fennelvarietiesfor3growthcycles，screeningatotalof27investigatedtraits.This guidelineaims toscientifically develop DUS testing guidelines suitable forthe protection of new varietyoffennel plants in China，effectively protecting the germplasm resources of fennel in China.
