Abstract：This study investigates the inhibitoryefects of extracts from traditional Chinese herbs on phytophthora blight ofeggplant，aiming toprovidescientific basis fortheselectionandresearchanddevelopmentofbotanicalfungicideof phytophthora blightof eggplant.The efectsofaqueous extracts from31traditional Chinese herbsonPhytophthoracapsiciandPhytophthoranicotianae were measuredby mycelial growthrate method.Theresultsshowedthattheaqueous extractsofdiferentChineseherbshaddifferenteffectsonthemycelialgrowthofthetestedfungi，andtheinhibitionrates was 0-100% .Theaqueous extractsof Coptis chinensis Franch.hadthe most significant inhibitoryeffect on the two pathogens，and the inhibition rate was 100% .The EC50 valuesof the aqueous extract of Coptischinensis Franch.onPhytophthoracapsiciandPhytophthoranicotianaewere 1.063mg?mL-1 and 1.286mg?mL-1 ，respectively.Thisstudy providesa new way and data support fortheprevention and controlof phytophthora blightof eggplant and the developmentof botanical fungicide .

綿疫病為茄子三大病害之一，全生育期均可發(fā)生，苗期和成株期均可受害，一般會導致減產(chǎn) 20%～ 30% ，發(fā)病嚴重時損失超過 50% ，主要危害茄果，也能危害葉、莖、花器等部位。（剩余9657字）
