Abstract: [Purposes]This paper aims to clarify the spatial distribution of cultivated land quantity,quality,and ecologicalconditions in Yan'an City,divide cultivated land protection zones,and proposedifferential protection plans.[Methods]This article takes Yan'an City as the research area and uses spatial autocorrelation analysis to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics and spatial aggregation rules of thequantity,quality,and ecological conditions of cultivated land resources in Yan'an City,and to delineate the protection zones for cultivated land in Yan'an City.[Findings] There are significant differences in the quantity,quality,and ecological conditions of arable land resources between the north and southof Yan'an City,and the spatial distribution of arable land quantity,quality,and ecological characteristics shows a certain clustering pattrn; based on the results of spatial autocorrelation analysis,the cultivated land resources in Yan'an City are divided into 5 first level protected areas and 1O second level protected areas,and protection plans are proposed.[Conclusions] In view of the characteristics of the cultivated land protection zones in Yan'an City,it is necessary to focus on protecting the advantageous atributes of cultivated land,so thatits advantages can be fullyutilizedand maintained,and to focus on improving the disadvantageous attributes,so as to further improve the quality of cultivated land.
