北齊佛教造像的色彩
內(nèi)容摘要:響堂山石窟是與云岡石窟、龍門石窟并稱的古代三大皇家石窟造像群之一,最初開鑿于北齊時代,后經(jīng)隋、唐、宋、元、明各代加以增鑿。筆者通過對響堂山石窟、鄴城、曲陽佛教造像以及響堂山北齊石窟中所使用色彩的調(diào)查比較,對響堂山石窟北齊洞窟中所見色彩進行了初步考察研究。

Abstract:The Xiangtangshan Grottoes are one of three ancient royal cave groups(the other two are the Yungang Grottoes and the Longmen Grottoes). Construction of the Xiangtangshan Grottoes began in the Northern Qi dynasty, and continued through the Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties. This paper presents a preliminary study on the colors used to paint the Northern Qi caves of the Xiangtangshan Grottoes by comparing the colors used in these caves with those used in Yecheng, as well as the colors used to paint the Buddhist sculptures in Quyang.

1996年,隨著青州北魏晚期、東魏和北齊時期佛教造像的發(fā)現(xiàn),人們對中國佛教造像敷彩的任何疑問都迎刃而解了,這些造像在公元577年北周征服北齊時因地震或北周滅佛而毀壞,并被收集起來埋葬于此或后來被重新掩埋。(剩余2944字)
