Abstract：This studyaims to explore the efects of amino-oligosaccharinandvarious exogenous substanceson sorghum sedgermination，seedlingmorphology，andphysiologicalcharacteristicsunderlow-temperatureconditions，thisstudyused thesorghumvarietyRedTassel'isusedastheresearch material.Soakingandhydroponicmethodsareemployed to investigate the impactof amino-oligosaccharides（AS）combined with differentconcentrations of sodium nitropruside（SNP）， γ -aminobutyricacid（GABA），andsalicylicacid（SA）onsorghumsd germination，seedling height，root length，basalstem diameter，freshnddrysootweight，freshnddryootweight，zymeactivityandchlorophyllfuorescenceparameters.he findings are as follows：Soaking with 0.70 mmol/L AS+0.60 mmol/L GABA yields the best results for seed germination，while 0.70mmol/LAS+0.25 mmol/L SA inhibits germination. Soakingwith 0.70mmol/L AS+0.03 mmol/L SNP and 0.70mmol/L AS+0.50 mmol/L SA promoted seedling growth.Soaking with 0.70 mmol/L AS+ 0.03 mmol/L SNP and 0.70 mmol/L AS+ 0.60mmol/L GABA enhances sorghum cold tolerance.In conclusion， 0.70 mmol/LAS+0.03 mmol/LSNP is the optimum concentration for seed dipping.Hydroponic treatment with 3.0mmol/L AS +1.0 mmol/L GABA shows the best results for promoting seedling growth.These findings providea theoretical basis for the development of seed treatment agents to enhance seed germination， seedling growth，and cold tolerance in sorghum.
