AbstractObjective：Toexploretheapplicationefectofastagedrehabilitationprogramcombined withPilates exerciseforelderly patientsaftertotalknearthroplasty（TKA）.Methods：Atotalof84patientswounderwentTKAinatertiaryfirst-lasshospital in Weifangcity，ShandongProvince，fromOctober2023toMarch2O24，wereselectedas theresearchsubjects.Uponadmissonteywere divided intoacontrolgroupandaninterventiongroupusingarandomnumbertablemethod，with42cases ineach group.Thepatients in controlgroupreeiedconventioaleabiltatioting，hilethepientsininterventiongroupunderwentstagedPilatseabiliatio training.TheBarthelIdex，knejointscoreangeofmotionROM），andBergBalanceSale （BBS）scores wereevaluatedibothoups. Results：Duringthenterventionperiod，participantintheinterventiongroupaslosttofollowup，andlparticipantintheotol groupwastransferredtoaoterehablitationfilityUltimately，atotalof84casesompletedthestudy.Patientsinthelatetraiing grouphadsignificantlyhigherBBSscoresandBarthelIndexat1week，1month，and3monthsafteroperationcomparedwiththeontrol group P<0.05 ）.Additionall，their knee joint scoresandROM scores were significantly higherthan thoseof thecontrol group at1 month and 3 months postoperatively （P<0.05 ）.Conclusions：The staged rehabilitation program combined with Pilates exercise can effectively improve knee joint function and enhance balance ability in patients after total knee arthroplasty.
