AbstractBasedon the Asparagus officinalis planting and production practice in the Northern Anhui region,its highqualityandhigh yield cultivation techniques fromaspects suchasmorphological characteristics,growth environment andfacility conditions,selection of superior varieties,cultivationof strong seedlings,transplantingand planting,field management,and pestanddiseasecontrol were summarized.Therootof this plant iscomposedoffleshy storagerootsand fibrousabsorbing roots.Itisdioeciousandhasalong growth cycle.Itisnecessaryto balance harvestingand plantcaretoachieve highqualityandhigh yield.Select plots with loose,fertilesoiland deepsoil layers for Asparagus oficinaliscultivation;select first-generationhybrid seeds with neattender stems,tightly wrappedbamboo shoot tipsandscalebuds,and strong diseaseresistance,such asLu Lusun No.1and Lusun PrinceF,etc.Asparagus fficinalisseeds need tobesoakedand germinated before planting,and seedling raising intrays can beadopted.Select the appropriate planting density for diffrent growth stages ofseedlings;manage fertilizer,water and temperature conditios scientificaly;integrated pestand diseasecontrolmeasuressuchasagricultural control,physicalcontroland biological controlareadopted.Harvestinbatchesand keep the stems to nourishthe plants to maintaintheir growthand achievesustainable production.This article providesareferencefor highyield cultivation ofAsparagusoffcinalis.
