A Study on the Translation of Culture-Loaded Terms in Chaozhou Opera The Firewood Room Gathering from the Perspective of Transknowletology

Abstract：Asauniqueformoftraditional ChineseoperaintheChaoshanregion，Chaozhou Operafacesisuessuchasinsuffi cientranslatiompropertraslationdiconsistenttaslationinisEglishanstionorkduetopaiclarityfislan guageandtherichnessof itsculturalconotations.ThispapertakestheChaozhouOperascriptTheFirewoodRoom Gatheringasa startingpoint，imingtoexploretetranslationsrategiesforculure-ladedtesinChaozouOperatofclitateitsdssation abroad.Groundedintheteoryoftransknowletologytepaperinterprtsculture-ldedtersiTheFirewodRomGathering.According tothethreetraslationstandardsof ransknowletology—"sekingtruthforknowledge"，"establishingmeaningwithgoodess"， and"craftingbeautyinwriting"，itsummarizesthatculture-loadedtermsinChaozhou Operacanbetranslatedusing methodssuchas literaltranslationtransliterationwithanotations，andfreetranslation，whichcanectivelyconeytheculturalconotatiosof ChaozhouOpera.Thisofers valuablereferencesfortheEnglishtranslationofculturallloadedtermsinChaozhouOperaanditsinternational dissemination， thereby promoting Chaozhou Opera culture to the world.

潮劇作為潮汕地區(qū)的文化標(biāo)識(shí)和中華文化多樣性的體現(xiàn)，在國(guó)內(nèi)外擁有廣泛的受眾基礎(chǔ)，但其英譯卻存在翻譯不足、翻譯不當(dāng)、翻譯不統(tǒng)一等問(wèn)題，一定程度上限制了潮劇在國(guó)際舞臺(tái)上的傳播與影響力[1。（剩余6065字）
