在內蒙古包頭市北部，有一座以礦產資源豐富著稱的工業(yè)重鎮(zhèn)——白云鄂博。白云鄂博，在蒙古語中意為“富饒的神山”。這里蘊藏著占世界已探明總儲量41%以上的稀土礦物，以及鐵、鈮、錳、磷、螢石等175種礦產資源，是享譽世界的“稀土之都”。
In the northern part of Baotou City in InnerMongolia lies Bayan Obo， an industrial townrenowned for its rich mineral resources. Thename “Bayan Obo” translates to the “abundant，sacred mountain” in Mongolian. This areaharbors over 41% of the world’s confirmedreserves of rare earth minerals， along with 175mineral resources， including iron， niobium，manganese， phosphorus， and fluorite， earning itthe title of the “World’s Rare Earth Capital.”
