Abstract：To explore the impact of climate change on aquaculture production in Hebei Province，linear fiting and correlation analysis methods were employed based on data spanning from 1955 to 2023. An in-depth analysis was conducted on the inter-annual trends of aquaculture production in Hebei Province and its relationship with various climatic indices，including the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation （AMO）. The results indicated that aquaculture production in Hebei Province experienced a significantly increase from 1980 to 2023，with a particularly rapid growth in the farmed sector，where marine aquaculture outpaced freshwater aquaculture. Additionally， marine fisheries production increase more rapidly than freshwater fishing production. Correlation analysis revealed a strong relationship between aquaculture and fisheries capture production in Hebei Province and the AMO index.
