[Abstract]ObjectiveThisstudyaimed toevaluate the effectof disc morphologyand disc-condyleangleonthe treatment of anterior repositioning splint （ARS）for anterior disc displacement with reduction（ADDwR）.MethodsOn the basisof theinclusionandexclusioncriteria，atotalof1lpatientsdiagnosed withADDwRwereincluded.Theeffectsof changes in disc length，thickness，and morphology clasificationsontheclinicalsymptoms，discmorphology parameters， and disc-condyle anglesafter ARS treatment wereevaluated using magnetic resonance imagingandthe Helkimo index. ResultsAfterARStreatment，theAiandDiofallpatients withADDwR decreased，thedisc length increased，and the thickness decreased.TheAiof patients with slight ADDwRand those with type1 joint discs was reduced toO，with the

most significant decrease observed in Di.The disc length ofmild ADDwR （increased to 8.65mm±1.79mm ）and type5disc （increased to 10.71mm±2.62mm ）significantlyincreased the most.The disc thickness of slight ADDwRdecreased to 3.08mm±0.51mm significantly.Con

clusionThetherapeuticeffectofARSiscorrelated with thedisplacementdegreandmorphological featuresof the disc，providing evidence for clinical treatment decisions.
