Abstract Taking a large smelter project as an example，a comprehensive treatment strategy is proposed for a 113hm2 treatment areainphases，levelsandregions.Firstly，thearea-widepre-treatmentshouldbeimplementedbyusingvacuumpre-loadingmethod （de-wateringdynamiccompactionmethodadopted inlocalareas）.Then，thecompositefoundationmethodwithbondingstrength reinforcementisusedforsecondaryreinforcementforkeyareassuchasslagstockyardandconcentratestockyard.Thestudyresults showthatthecharacteristicvalueofthefoundationbearingcapacityaftertreatmentisincreasedto2OkPatheaverageconsolidation of the soft soil reinforcement zone is greater than 80% ，and the cumulative settlement after construction is controlled within 30 cm， whichisbeterthanthestandardlimitTeefectivenessofthisstrategyinacceleratingsoildrainageconsolidation，educingpile foundationnegativefritionresistance，andcontrolingfoundationdeformationhasbeeverifiedthroughmonitoringandinspectionof the foundation treatment effect by a third-party agency.
