AbstractToaddressthechallengesofconstructing large-section lowerorebins inweak rock strata-characterized byhigh technical difficulty and stringent safety requirements,an integrated construction scheme of“raise boring + drilling-blasting downward excavation/enlargement + layered concreting"was proposed and applied based on practical experience from a metal mine's crushing systemproject.Thesolutioninvolves threekeyphases:first,aguideraisewasdriledusingaraiseboring machnetoconnectwiththe lowerlevel,singasblasfreuaceanduckmoalael;sondlytopodowardargemeniadrilising withstrctlyoptizedblastparametestozeuroudngckdistubance;fiallsteelforcedocetelingisled throughsegmentwisesupportcasting.Tepracticeesultsdemonstratethatthisapproachnsuredonstructionsafetythroughpaalel operations (upper/lowerorebins)viaplanedmuckroutesadsafetyisolationmeasures,significantlyincreasedconstructiociency reducedconstruction time by15days for thelowerore bin,and acceleratedoverallcrushingsystem completion by43 days.
