Abstract:【Objective】The WRKYgene familyplays animportantrolein theregulation of plant growthand development.Camelia japonicaisanimportantoamentalplantwithichfowercolors.ItisofgreatsignificancetoidentifyandanalyzetheWRKYgene familymembers inCamelia japonica petals withdiferentcolors.【Method】Basedonthe whole genome dataofCameliajaponica, theWRKYgenefamilywasidentifedandanalyzedbybioinformaticsmethods.Basedonthetranscriptomedatarelatedtocamellia flowercolor,teexpressionpateofCjWKYsindifentcoloedamellapealsasaalyed【Result】esultsindcatedtat 94 CjWRKYgenes were identified in the whole genomeand named CjWRKY1-CjWRKY94.The phylogenetic tree dividedthe strains intothregos(I,I)adgopIIwafurthvieditfiveubous(a,I-b-c,I-I-e).ob contained twoWRKYdomains,whilegroupI andIImemberscontainedonlyone WRKYdomai.Atotalof10conservedmotifsand 5conserveddomainswereidentifed.TheCjWRKYsmembersinthesamesubgrouphadsimilarconservedmotifs,conserveddomains and genestructures.The CjWRKYs promoterregioncontained 38 elements forlightresponse,stressresponseandhormonerespose, includingMYBbindingsiteforregulatingfavonoidbiosynthesis.94CjWRKYswereunevenlydisrbutedon15chromosomes,and there were13 pairsoftandemduplication events.Collnearityanalysisshowed thatthere were72duplication events in94CjWRKYs genes,and the Ka/Ks valueof the duplication genes was less than1.There were 116 colinear gene pairs with Arabidopsis WRKY gene family.Amongthem,32CjWRKYs wereup-regulatedand6CjWRKYsweredown-regulated withthedeepeningofflowercolorof Cameliajaponica,whichsugestedthat CjWRKYs plaedanimportantroleinteregulationofanthocyanisyntesis.Itisspeclated thatCjWRKY48,CjWRKY53andCjWRKY6 positivelyregulateanthocyaninsynthesisbyinteracting withMYBtranscriptionfactors, therebyaffectingflowercolorofCameliajaponica.【Conclusion】94CjWRKYsgeneswereidentifedinthewholeCamellajaponica genome,andmostCjWRKYsareinvolvedinanthocyaninsynthesisandplayanimportantroleincolorformationofCameliajaponica.
