The Spatial Spillover Effect of New Quality Productive Forces on Regional Common Prosperity

Abstract：The development ofnewqualityproductive forces provides fresh momentumfor common prosperity.This article examines therelationship betweennewquality productiveforces andcommon prosperityusing aspatial Durbin model based onbalanced panel datafrom 31provinces inChina from2O12 to2022.According totheresearch findings，new quality productive forcessignificantlypromotecommon prosperityandhave a positivespatial spilover efect.Thisconclusion remainsvalidevenafterrobustness tests.Theanalysisofregionalandincomedisparitiesshows thatthespatial spilover efectof new qualityproductive forces oncommon prosperityinthecentral regionandareas with significantincome disparities is more significant.Andthe further examination indicates that new qualityproductiveforcescontributeto commonprosperitybyenhancingtheworkforce，driving the developmentof the digital economyandmodernizing the industrialchain，withoutapparentthresholdefect.Basedonthis，therticlesuggestsadapting tolocalconditions todevelop newqualityproductive forces，optimizing resourceallcation，strengthening regional cooperation，and enhancing the developmentlevelofthedigitaleconomyandthe modernizationleveloftheindustrialchaintoachievethegoalofcommon prosperity.
