Abstract：To comprehensively evaluate the heat tolerance of green-petiole，non - heading cabbage seedlings，1O germplasm materials were exposed to high-temperature stress in a light incubator.The effects of high -temperature stress on seedling growth and physiological parameters were analyzed using the heat damage index and the afflition function method.The results indicated that high-temperature stress generallyreduced growth parameters，including plant height，plant width，dryand fresh weight，and the root-to-shoot ratio of sedlings. At the same time，high -temperature stress also increased relative conductivity，prolinecontent，superoxide dismutase，catalaseactivities，and malondialdehyde content while decreasing soluble protein content in green -petiole，non-heading cabbage seedlings.Based on clustering analysis using the heat damage index and the afiliation function method，two highly heat-tolerant materials（22XS15，2XS156）and two heat-sensitive materials （22XS44，22XS56） were identified.
