Architecture industry of Japan has developed rapidly since modern times. Through the analysis of the practice of the integration of nationality and modernity in the development of Japanese architecture， this paper explores how to express the nationality and how to combine new materials and traditional space while realizing the modernization of Japanese modern architecture. So as to trigger thinking on the development of Chinese architecture.Getting some inspiration from the success of the symbiosis of nationality and modernization in Japanese architecture.
