Effect of notch on mechanical property of 6063 aluminum alloy

Abstract: To investigate the efect of notches on the mechanical properties of 6O63 aluminum aloy,five different specimens with single notch and double notches(the space of the two notches is 1.O,2.0,3.0, and 4.0mm ,respectively) are designed,and its mechanical properties are analyzed using room temperature uniaxial tension experiment combined with numerical simulation method. The results show that the local notch cause a significant decrease in the plasticity of the plate and a significant reduction in fracture displacement;the stress of specimens with notch/notches is higher,and its stress concentration is more serious.

6××× 系鋁合金比強(qiáng)度高、密度低、抗沖擊性能優(yōu)良、耐腐蝕,常用于汽車(chē)防撞梁、電池托盤(pán)等[1]6063鋁合金為Al-Mg-Si合金,具有密度低、強(qiáng)度高、可塑性強(qiáng)、可焊接、耐腐蝕等優(yōu)點(diǎn),廣泛應(yīng)用于飛機(jī)、汽車(chē)等,是輕量化的理想材料之一[2]。(剩余5607字)
