Abstract：A space frequency adaptive processing（SFAP）algorithm based on short-time Fourier transform （STFT）is presented to solve the problem of high computational complexity in traditional SFAPalgorithms when the number of fast Fourier transform（FFT） points is large，and parasitic zeros may occur in other frequency bands in the direction of interference when the numberofFFT points is small.The proposed method firstly converts the signal to the time-frequency domain through STFT，and uses the constant false alarm threshold detection method to detect interference frequency points. Secondly，spatialfiltering procesing is only performed at the interferencefrequency points.Compared to traditional SFAP algorithms that perform spatial filtering processng at all frequency points，the proposed method effectively improves computational efficiency and anti-interferenceability.The proposed method can not only deal with stationary interference but also effectively suppress non-stationary interference which poses a greater threat.
