Abstract:Scintillators have numerous applications in the fields of precision detection of high-energy physics,nuclearphysics research,medical diagnosis,industrial flawdetection,and national defense security monitoring.However,traditionalsinglecrystalscintilatorsaredificult torealizelarge-scalepreparationduetotheircomplexprocesses,high costs,and limited volume size.Inrecent years,glass scintilators havestoodoutdueto their highly mature production processs,lowcosts,good eficient luminescence,and excellent plasticity.This paper elaborates on he luminescence mechanismof glasscintillators and enumerates key parameters for evaluatingtheir scintilltion performance.Basedon their components and structural characteristics,glassscintilators are mainly clasified into oxide glasscintilators,halideglasssintillators,and micro/nano-crystallinecompositeglassscintilltors.Thisreviewfocuses ontheoverview of thelatest research resultsand development trendof glasscintillatorfor X-ray,and summarizesthehigh-density glassscintillator.Finally,thefuturedevelopmenttrendofglass scintillatorforX-rayissummarized and outlooked.

閃爍體作為一種能將入射的高能射線(X射線、γ射線)或輻射粒子(熱中子、 ∝ 射線、β射線)轉(zhuǎn)化為紫外或可見光的發(fā)光材料,通過與光電探測(cè)器(如各種光電二極管、光電倍增管、電荷元件等)耦合可實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)高能粒子和電離輻射的探測(cè),在核物理、生物醫(yī)學(xué)影像、工業(yè)無損探傷、地質(zhì)勘探和國(guó)防安全等領(lǐng)域有著廣泛的應(yīng)用需求。(剩余35754字)
